OSI-930 is a potent thiophene receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor of Kit, KDR, Flt, CSF-1R, c-Raf and Lck with IC50 of 80 nM, 9 nM, 8 nM, 15 nM, 41 nM and 22 nM, respectively. Tyrosine kinase inhibitor OSI930 inhibits stem cell factor receptor (c-Kit) and the vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2), which may result in the inhibition of both tumor cell proliferation and tumor angiogenesis. Both c-Kit and VEGFR2 are overexpressed in a variety of cancers. [1][2]
