WZ4002 is a novel, mutant-selective EGFR kinase inhibitor for EGFR L858R and EGFR L858R /T790M with IC50 of 2 nM and 8 nM, respectively. WZ-4002 does not inhibit wild-type EGFR; thus, it may have less effect on normal body cells and not cause diarrhea or rash like iressa and tarceva. WZ 4002 is a compound that can inhibit T790M EGFR in the laboratory cells without inhibiting normal EGFR. [1][2]
