Dinaciclib (SCH727965) is a novel and potent cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor for CDK2, CDK5, CDK1, and CDK9 with IC50 of 1 nM, 1 nM, 3 nM and 4 nM, respectively.Dinaciclib selectively inhibits cyclin dependent kinases CDK1, CDK2, CDK5, and CDK9; inhibition of CDK1 and CDK2 may result in cell cycle repression and tumor cell apoptosis.
