Lestaurtinib is a potent JAK2, FLT3 and TrkA inhibitor (IC50 values are 0.9, 3 and < 25 nM respectively) that prevents STAT5 phosphorylation (IC50 = 20 - 30 nM). Lestaurtinib inhibits autophosphorylation of FMS-like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3), resulting in inhibition of FLT3 activity and induction of apoptosis in tumor cells that overexpress FLT3. [1][2]
